Shortly after birth, she was having some difficulty breathing and was sent to the NICU. The neonatologist quickly assessed her and told us she had a pheumothorax in both lungs. She's been under an oxygen hood and on IV fluids since Tuesday evening. Although we still haven't been able to hold her, we are able to go feed her and touch her and change her diapers. She's made some progress, but still has a bit of fluid in her lungs. They began giving her antibiotics this afternoon, so hopefully, it will clear up very, very soon! Please keep her in your prayers for a speedy recovery.
Here are a few pics of our beautiful baby girl. Hope you enjoy!!!
