Four Days Old

Today's x-ray didn't show enough improvement in her lungs, so Dr. Ravenscroft decided she would need a full 7 days of IV antibiotics.  Today was day 3, so we have 4 more to go.  We can hardly wait to take are beautiful baby girl home, but understand this treatment is best for her and will wait patiently. 

We had to vacate our room today.  We stayed at the hospital most of the day to be with her as much as we could.  Leaving the hospital without our Brooklyn was one of if not the hardest thing we've ever done.  Our hearts go out to all of those parents who leave babies in far more critical conditions and for months at a time.
